Coaches Challenge 2012

The Coaches Challenge for 2012 began with the FS receivers taking a huge lead through 3 events; they took first place in the Sled Setup Challenge and the Ball & Bucket Catch along with a third place finish in the Wrist Taping Challenge. After 3, the standing was;

  1. FS receivers – 13
  2. Coaches – 11
  3. V OL – 10
  4. V receivers & V backs – 8
  5. FS OL & FS backs – 6

The last 2 events (Water Bottle Challenge & Dummy Roll) turned out to be the decisive factors as the Coaches made a strong run to edge the FS receivers in the meltdown of the century. The Coaches, behind a third place finish in the Water Bottle Challenge and a first place finish in the Dummy roll, tallied 19 total points. The V receivers also made a strong run with back to back first place finishes to rally for a third place finish with 17 points. The FS receivers who failed miserably in both events to end the day came in second with 18 points.
