City Champs Honored at City Hall by Supervisor London Breed

The 2013 AAA &  CIF-SF section football champions received a prestigious invitation by supervisor and Galileo alum, London Breed, to City Hall on Tuesday, December 17th. In the supervisors meeting, supervisor Breed and another Gal alumni, supervisor Norman Yee both spoke highly of their pride in their school and recognized the players, their principal, Marcus Blacksher and their head coach, Mark Huynh, for their accomplishment. Mr. Blacksher and coach Mark also spoke briefly on behalf of Galileo and the football team. Senior captain, Isaac Armstrong was entrusted with the presentation of a purple football shirt to Ms. Breed and he was the right man for the job. 25 players attended along with 6 family members in this prestigious honor. When was the last time a city champion was honored at city hall? The answer might be “never”. Congratulations to a fantastic season to the Lions.
