Coaching Staff 2013

The 2013 season will point the program back to a more traditional style of coaching with 2 separate coaching staffs. While the 2012 staff returns for another season (with 1 change — Donovan Phillips in place of Jackie Phung), coaches Espy and Hardee are first year coaches in the Galileo Football Program. This change will allow varsity coaches to focus on varsity players and vice versa for the frosh soph coaches. Coach Mark’s staff will continue to work throughout the off-season (winter camp, spring ball, & summer camp) until the 2 teams break for their own practices in August.

Hey Mark, I like what I’m reading about the team this season, I also like what you’ve been doing over your tenure as head coach. I have to admit, that I don’t like the nasty G on the helmets though, but your winning, so its not that bad. The thing that makes me the most proud, is the way you’re teaching the tradition of the G. With that being said, I think you should pull the silver pants, purple fishnets, and the lions out of moth balls this season to honor the undefeated 88, historic 89, and 3peat champion 90 teams just to show how it was when we played. I would say pull up the next turf and play in the potholes, but that’s too extreme(I say that because I love the field and I’m jealous and wish I could play on it lol), anyway, wipe the floor with the league and give me a reason to cross the new bridge in November on Thanksgiving.
