GALILEO LIONS FOOTBALL

Galileo will be host­ing it’s first and hope­fully annual, “Alumni Chal­lenge Day”. This event, although there’s foot­ball and skills and eat­ing involved, is about bring­ing the Galileo Foot­ball Fam­ily together.

Ten­ta­tive Schedule

WHAT: Skills chal­lenge day & 7v7 Flag Foot­ball Tour­na­ment & BBQ

WHO: Cur­rent Galileo foot­ball play­ers & alumni only

WHEN: Sat­ur­day, July 16, 10AM-4PM

WHERE: Galileo’s George White Field

COST: $10 (alumni) & $5 (cur­rent players)

Flag 77: the 7 on 7 flag foot­ball tour­na­ment will have a cham­pion! Come as a team or come and join a team. Each ros­ter will have a min­i­mum of 8 play­ers and a max of 10. Reg­u­lar flag rules apply. Teams will also be assigned reff­ing duties. Bring your own equip­ment, foot­balls will be provided.

Skills Chal­lenge: each par­tic­i­pant will be allowed to com­pete in 1 skills chal­lenge. Sign ups will be taken when you arrive. Expect to com­pete in chal­lenges such as: throw­ing, catch­ing, etc.

Expec­ta­tions: each alumni and cur­rent player and family/friends attend­ing is expected to abide by our cur­rent foot­ball rules: no pro­fan­ity & no “red” on the field, dis­play of good sports­man­ship, respect­ing & putting each other first. Every­thing else is com­mon sense (you know what we mean).
